The Richmond Hotel, Pondicherry is a boutique hotel located in the peaceful and clean environments of the French colony of Pondicherry. The hotel is a short walking distance from the beach, colonial buildings, the ashram and other attractions, and about 10 minutes from the Train Station.The hotel has 14 well executed and equipped rooms with bright colors. A three floor atrium gives a feeling of space to the the small property and the neighbours blank wall has been converted similar to the hotel façade making the property look much bigger than it actually is. A small lobby with hand painted watercolours by local artists of the local sights gives a very distinguished feel to the place which opens out into the restaurant and bar.
